Adventure gear for spring!

Okay, spring is finally here! You know that feeling when you have the perfect outfit for your favorite activity and it makes you extra excited to get started? Well, if you are planning on getting outdoors to hike or explore, and hate being uncomfortable, quality gear is a must.

Let's start off with my FAVORITE purchase this spring. I typically do not like patterns, but a pop of fun color with a fun design every now and then makes me very happy. This practical SPF 50+ protecting rash guard is also ultra sexy in its form-fitting and shaping zip-up design. Because I have Vitiligo, I have to be extra careful with my skin, and this is a classic, cute spin on the typical rash guard. Next is Merrell's Ultralite windproof/waterproof zip-up. Words are not enough to say how much I love this jacket. I am always a bit chilly, and this is a PERFECT layer to finish off any outfit. It is specially designed with an insulated fabric as well as being incredibly soft, which is usually a challenge for those wind/waterproof jackets! This jacket is not ideal for extreme weather, but for rainy and windy weather, this scores a 10/10 for me. This SPF 50+ top from Sierra will keep you cool and totally protect your skin from the sun. The lightweight design makes it extra malleable to pack and is quick-drying. Who else needs a new pair of hiking shorts? Eddie Bauer has the perfect pair on sale. Okayyy, I know Eddie Bauer is usually screaming old people as loudly as possible, but listen, these shorts, are a must-have. My favorite is the army green pair, and they are actually SO comfortable and are completely passable fashion when paired with the right top (no button downs please!). Last, but not least, do not forget some great hiking socks. I hate sweaty feet. I hate sore feet. I hate blistered feet. No one likes walking in uncomfortable socks.
