Whether you have been part of the IVY community since the beginning, or you just joined recently, we hope that more than anything it is evident that we care about people.
We recognize that from the very beginning of our nation to present day, the Black community has been hurt and is hurting; and we see that there is a need larger than just not being racist. As a brand and as individuals who make up this brand, we are committed to the everyday work of being anti-racist.
As a brand it has always been our intention to be inclusive to all people, but in this time we want to make space to let the Black community know that we are listening, we are learning, and we are allies. We acknowledge that this is work we should have been even more intentional in since the start of IVY, but it is our privilege to do it now. We are listening and learning how we can take part in this fight for equality, and we invite all of our white and non-Black friends to join us in this.
To get started, we have made a list of a few resources that we are going to dig into and get informed. We acknowledge that it is our job to learn, get informed, and listen.
