This is the IVY Lifestyle?

One question we get asked all the time is "Why is your website IVY Lifestyle and not IVY Longboards?"  Well, that is a great question friend, and one we definitely have an answer to. 

One thing we've said since Day 1 is that "IVY is more than a longboard company."  Sure, we do make, in my ever so biased opinion, the best handmade longboards you can find, but we're really so much more than that.

The IVY Lifestyle is more than a board, more than a shirt, more than a trip, it's a way of living your life the way YOU want to live.  To experience the things YOU want to experience and do it while surrounding yourself with the greatest community of like minded people that you'll ever find.  That's the IVY Community. That's the IVY Lifestyle.

Sometimes we at IVY get so caught up in the day to day of running a business that we lose some of that intense focus of 'why' we do what we do and all it takes is to rewatch one of our videos, to get a direct message from someone who loves our boards, our brand, or see someone just out there doing what they want to do and it all comes back.

The last couple of months at IVY have been nothing short of insane.  We're launching three new skateboards, we're moving into a bigger and dare I say better IVY HQ, we've completely restructured our pricing for all of our handcrafted longboards, we are in constant discussions with the people around us asking "how do we take IVY to that next level?" and figuring out what it will take to make that next giant leap.

But we MUST keep that laser focus on the"why" or else the rest is all for not.

So this evening I sat down and watched every single IVY video we have on our YouTube channel and ya know what?  Like a freight train, it all came rushing back.

Something that Steve always says seems extremely relevant right now "if I wasn't doing this, I'd be dreaming of doing it." 

IVY has provided me the opportunity to meet some of the greatest people I've ever met, travel to places I couldn't have dreamed and experience things I never would have imagined and it's not Steve that makes this possible, it's not me, it's you.  The people, the community that continues to see the vision of what IVY is and gives us the push and the confidence we need to see this through.
